Rich In Heritage

Yates is a Michigan landmark and a registered historic site, making delicious apple cider with water power from the Clinton River since 1876.

River Walk

Many of our guests tell us about the memories that have been made on these trails. We see parents who were once the ‘kids’ in the bunch and are now with their own children. Senior citizens who still remember some of their children taking their first steps here are sipping coffee and walking a little slower these days, but still enjoy their walk down the river trail. Marriage proposals, anniversaries, and birthdays are also celebrated here regularly.

Yates Cider Mill works hard to keep the heritage authentic, grounds spotless, and visitors happy so your family continues their own “Yates Tradition” for years to come.

Our trail is about ½ mile long so it can easily be enjoyed by just about anyone. Come visit us, have some cider and donuts and then enjoy a relaxing stroll.

Grab a snack and eat while you walk.

The breath taking Michigan foliage is beautiful! Many of our faithful customers make their trip to Yates a tradition just to see the richest colors that fall has to offer! Enjoy the Michigan view!
