"I grew up on delicious doughnuts and the distinctive taste of Yates cider. I now live in North Carolina and I have not been able to return to Yates for about 12 years, but this year I get to have my cider "fix" and I'm bringing my family that has never been to Michigan. I can't wait to see their faces when they finally get to have a taste of my childhood, and get to see the place I have been talking about for the last 12 years!"

Want more out of your trip to Yates?
Take a tour!
Tours include a short movie that highlights some behind-the-scenes
operations at the cider mill. Each group also has the
opportunity to watch the cider being pressed.
See the cider being made, taste it fresh from our press
to you. The tour ends with a donut and a small
apple jug of cider for each person!
This is more than an education,
it’s a memory for a lifetime.
Large group tours are available from mid-September
through the end of October. Tours are a half-hour and
are scheduled Wednesday through Friday for a minimal
fee. Tours are by appointment only. There are no scheduled
tours on weekends.
